The two hung up.

She went to a nearby bank, withdrew the money, and returned to the residential complex.

Li Chengwei turned to look at Song Chi. Song Chi coldly stared back.
“What are you looking at me for? If you dare come after me again, I have evidence to sue you!”
Li Chengwei gritted his teeth in hatred.
Song Chi could come up with 50,000 today—maybe she could come up with 5 million someday. He wouldn’t let her go that easily.
Just as the collectors were about to leave, several police cars suddenly pulled up. Ye Xiu, along with a group of officers, got out of the cars and quickly surrounded the debt collectors and Li Chengwei.
“We received a report from a citizen… your debt collecting tactics are illegal. You’re coming with us.”
Before the debt collectors could react, the police moved in and restrained them. Li Chengwei was also taken into custody.
“Li Chengwei, we received reports that you’re involved in illegal gambling and domestic violence. You’re coming with us too!”

Song Chi heard them but couldn’t be bothered to respond. She helped her aunt back upstairs, treated her injuries, then headed back out to go home.

“It clearly says that anyone who insults or defames you will receive a lawyer’s letter!”
Song Chi was stunned and ran over to the bulletin board to check.
Sure enough, the property management had put up a public notice defending her.
Aunt Wang also showed her some screenshots,
“You were being exposed online too. But strangely, within two hours, all related videos were taken down…”
