The knight with blue hair had collapsed in a pool of blood, with Bill holding them in panic.

“Oh no, Sir Knight! What do we do about our Captain?!”

Zeke realized the fallen figure was Peter Pan.

However, Zeke was surprised for a different reason.

‘They’re not a fishermen?’

Surprisingly, the fallen figure wasn’t a fishermen but a human girl not much younger than Zeke.

Zeke examined Peter Pan’s wounds.

Zeke put Agamemnon’s mask in his pocket and used purification.

Golden aura spread from Zeke’s hands, purifying the magi in Peter Pan’s body.

He also used Healing Factor to treat her wounds.

As her wounds healed, Peter Pan regained consciousness.

Her eyes were the same aqua color as her hair.

“A, human…!”

Peter Pan jumped back immediately.

Water droplets gathered around her body.

Peter Pan spoke again in the booming voice.

『Such wicked beings as humans would never help without reason!』

“First, I agree humans are wicked. And of course I had a reason.”

Peter Pan was taken aback by Zeke agreeing.

“Peter Pan, I have something to ask you.”

Zeke showed her his gloved hand.

Her eyes sharpened instantly.

Water streams wrapped around her body, forming a massive sea serpent.

Zeke remained calm despite the threatening sea serpent.

“I’m Zeke Draker. Direct bloodline and pure Draker, like Abel Draker who attacked the fishermen.”

Peter Pan became more wary, pushing forward the water serpent.

He spoke to her.

“Don’t you want to save the captured fishmen?”

Peter Pan’s eyebrow twitched.

She shouted at Zeke.

“Who said to trust me? I’m proposing a deal for mutual benefit.”

Peter Pan hesitated.

Bill spoke up beside her.

Zeke sheathed his sword and said to Peter Pan.

“Do you believe me now?”

Zeke wore a dumbfounded expression at Peter Pan’s words.

“I’m glad you’ll listen, but… is it okay to trust just based on a spirit’s word?”

Peter Pan glared at Zeke and replied:

“You think I’m happy to trust you! I’m only willing to listen because a spirit feeling friendly means your soul is pure. Don’t get the wrong idea!”

Zeke shrugged at Peter Pan’s words.

‘Pure soul? I don’t know what that means.’

When the two stopped arguing, Bill finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Zeke looked at Peter Pan with Undine and asked the question he’d been holding.

“Peter Pan, are you not one of the Fishermen ?”

“No, I am from the Merfolk tribe.”

“Could you be a legendary mermaid? I heard mermaids look like humans until they enter the water.”

Peter Pan showed a slightly surprised expression at Zeke’s words.

“You even know about that. Draker knows all sorts of things.”

“…There seem to be a lot of strange prejudices about Drakers. I don’t know these things because I’m a Draker.”

Peter Pan chuckled and said.

“I am indeed a mermaid. The deep sea people’s traits manifested through ancestral regression.”

As Zeke expected, they had planted spies in the  Silver Knights beforehand and attacked at the crucial moment.

“Is Kali Draker alright?”

“Like me, she seemed confused when those guys used some strange power. Suddenly my body went limp and I couldn’t summon spirits. Since most of the knights followed the Silver knight… well, I can’t say for sure.”

It meant the knights who attacked Kali could also use fighting techniques.

‘How many of these guys are there?’

Seeing the Knight Killers shooting magic bullets and knights who could use fighting techniques, Jiemen’s true power was beyond what was known.

Zeke said to Peter Pan.

“Take me to where Kali Draker was attacked. I must save her. Otherwise, not just the fishermen but the entire continent will be stained with blood.”

Peter Pan frowned at Zeke’s words.

She gestured to Zeke.

“Follow me this way. The Silver knight was attacked over there. They probably fled in a different direction from me.”
