At Diego’s manner of speech, Clonne standing nearby tapped her mace against her palm.

Diego stiffened and corrected his speech.

“It is one of the legends of the South.”

“What legend?”

“They say when the Sea God becomes angry, he places a curse that creates massive whirlpools to capsize ships.”

“Capsize ships?”

“Yes. That’s why Southern ships never go near whirlpools. They don’t want to receive the Sea God’s curse.”

“Hmm.”

While the Southern captain was trembling at the sight of the whirlpool, Zeke was thinking something completely different.

‘Seems we’ve found the right place.’

He hadn’t expected they could enter the Sea God’s Island, where Captain Kidd’s treasure was hidden, without any interference.

Zeke spoke to the captain.

“Steer the ship as close to the whirlpool as possible.”

The captain’s face turned even paler at those words.

“I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen, just keep the helm steady so we don’t capsize.”

After saying this, Zeke immediately jumped into the sea.

Even with Spirit King Nahuel blocking it, the whirlpool’s force was so strong that the ship kept getting pulled inward.

“Nahuel, hang in there a little longer!”

Zeke grabbed Nahuel’s neck and drew out Bahamut.

He tried to hold out until the ship reached the center of the whirlpool, but the ship was being sucked in faster than expected.

Zeke frowned and shouted loudly.

Zeke pointed Bahamut toward the massive tidal wave.

He summoned the power of Spirit Body with all his might while simultaneously drawing upon the power of the Elemental Sword.

Elemental energy gathered around Zeke’s Spirit Body.

Zeke steadied his breathing and pointed his sword at the approaching tidal wave.

The crashing waves and rough sea suddenly stopped.

Only Zeke and the tidal wave remained in this world.

He slowly swung his sword toward the tidal wave.
