The cave was connected to a huge cavern.

But then he heard something chasing from behind.

The knights were chasing after Zeke with glowing red eyes even with holy fire stuck to their bodies.

“We should look for another connected path. Can you move with Sister?”

Zeke and Peter Pan went deeper into the tomb. Past a narrow passage, another wide space appeared.

The space seemed built in the Deep Sea People’s distinctive architecture, with unique pattern tiles on the walls and floor, and well-like passages connecting to the sea throughout.
“Did they use these to travel between sea and land?”
“Yes, among the Deep Sea People, only the Sea God’s descendants could come on land. So the fact that this place is on land means only certain Deep Sea People could enter.”
“Can’t fishermen travel both sea and land?”
“Fishmen are hybrids of Deep Sea People and humans. The Deep Sea People disappeared and only the hybrids remained, living through long ages to become fishmen who could travel both land and sea.”
Zeke went further inside while listening to Peter Pan’s explanation.
